Our apartments
will be found in a quiet cul-de-sac in the hills just off the Plymouth
Road, the main road between Scarborough and Plymouth. They are surrounded
by local housing.
A short distance away (1/3 mile) are two small supermarkets, both are
open 7 days a week. The main town is about 1 mile distant.
Beaches can be
reached reasonably quickly, but as the location is not directly on the
coast, we have installed a wonderful pool to while away those hot, sunny
afternoons.

To get around the island
a car is recommended, though not essential. It is easy enough to stand
on the roadway at the bottom of the (short) hill and take one of the frequently
passing cars or taxis, which are cheap. We can recommend some car hire
companies that we use if you wish.
