The apartment has an open plan area with a large reception room which has comfortable three- and two-seater settees and matching armchair.

Directly opposite this is the dining area, with a large table that easily seats eight persons.

The kitchen is separated from this area by a serving bar, and contains all the equipment needed to prepare sumptuous meals from the fresh ingredients found all year round in this part of the Caribbean.

All these areas have variable speed ceiling fans to maintain a comfortable temperature during the balmy evenings.

    Reception room

Along the corridor will be found a double room with arch.
This room served as a prayer room as the house was originally built for a lady from the church. Now it is used partly as a study and partly as a family room complete with television and DVD player. These are housed in a bookcase that also contains a variety of board games, books and a large mixed selection of DVDs to while away the dark evenings (the two Tobago television channels leave a lot to be desired!).

Plan of Apartment
The utility room has a large washing machine and space to hang clothes were the weather to be less than perfect, though most of the time the laundry can be hung outside and dries very quickly. Also in here can be found the seats and loungers for the beach, along with towels and snorkeling gear, plus iceboxes for those trips further afield.

Three comfortable double bedrooms are also along the corridor. One has an en-suite shower room and a separate balcony to enable you to enjoy those quiet, private moments as the sun slowly sets over the valley.
All the bedrooms have their own controllable air-conditioning.

From the dining room through French windows one finds a reasonable-sized patio looking over a number of banana plants and varieties of citrus. Here one can take breakfast in peace and tranquility, or have an evening barbecue watching the fireflies compete with each other.

The front of the house has a well-kept garden with many varieties of tropical plants. We like to have breakfast here in the early-morning shade. Steps lead down to the lower front garden and swimming pool, used by both apartments.
